
A. Annette Teichert is a partner with more than 20 years of experience as a litigator and legal consultant on issues involving document management and information governance, electronic discovery, cross-border discovery issues and data security and privacy.
She is a founding co-lead of Alston & Bird’s Special Resources and Electronic Discovery unit, a member of Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Team and the Data Security & Privacy Committee.
As a litigator, Annette has represented top corporations in civil actions and government investigations in health care fraud, products liability litigation and financial litigation. Since 2008, she has served as one of Alston & Bird’s go-to consultants on matters of ESI management and e-discovery; counseling clients on preservation, collection and production of electronic data; and representing them in court in e-discovery disputes and hearings.
Through her years of experience in e-discovery matters, Annette has developed cost-effective and creative strategies for managing the ever-increasing demands of e-discovery in legal disputes and investigations. Annette is active in both regional and national e-discovery organizations and is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences on issues surrounding e-discovery.
Annette is a member of the Sedona Conference Working Group on Electronic Document Retention & Production, State Bar of Georgia and American Bar Association. She received her J.D. from the University of Georgia.
