Daniel Vazquez is an experienced civil trial attorney and advocate for the injured. Mr. Vazquez has successfully prosecuted cases in Florida and across the country on behalf of individuals harmed by negligent, reckless, and intentional conduct. He has recovered millions of dollars for his clients since joining the Florida Bar in 2010.
Mr. Vazquez also has significant appellate experience, including serving as lead counsel in Kellner v. David, a 5th District Court of Appeal opinion upholding his firm’s $3.5 million verdict that was the largest verdict in the history of Citrus County at the time.
Mr. Vazquez has practiced law exclusively in the area of personal injury and wrongful death in Gainesville, Florida since 2010. He is a “double-gator,” earning both his undergraduate degree in history and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida.
Mr. Vazquez also serves as an Adjunct Law Professor at the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law and lectures in various courses including legal research, introduction to lawyering, and appellate advocacy. He has also served as a Florida Supreme Court law clerk extern to Justice Jorge Labarga in Tallahassee, Florida.
Mr. Vazquez currently serves as the youngest Board of Directors member of the Florida Justice Association, and as co-chair of the Association’s Young Lawyer Task Force. Mr. Vazquez is of Cuban heritage. He was raised in Satellite Beach, Florida, and in his spare time, he enjoys travel, hiking, kayaking, and snow skiing.
