Aaron Block is a partner in Alston & Bird’s Products Liability Group. He represents industry in scientifically complex mass tort and products liability matters. Aaron focuses on working with (and against) experts to develop and communicate the client’s scientific case to courts, regulators and the public.
Aaron’s experience includes litigation and regulatory guidance involving wireless devices, food and beverages, building products, various minerals, natural gas and automobiles.
Aaron maintains an active pro bono practice, for which in 2016 he received both the Anti-Defamation League’s Stuart Eizenstat Young Lawyer Award and the inaugural Dean’s Attorney of the Year for Public Service Award from Washington University School of Law.
He has litigated a variety of matters for asylum seekers, the working poor and victims of domestic violence and government dereliction.
Before joining Alston & Bird, Aaron was a law clerk for Chief District Judge Jon Phipps McCalla of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. Aaron received his J.D., magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from Washington University in St. Louis.
During law school, Aaron was on the executive board of the Washington University Law Review and served as student body president.
