Aaron S. Parker is an associate in the San Diego office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where his practice focuses on patent counseling, drafting, and prosecution of U.S. and international patent applications in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and other life sciences industries.
He has experience conducting due diligence assessments, freedom-to-operate analyses, and patentability analyses. He works with clients with IP in a number of areas, including antibodies, biologics, immunotherapy, molecular biology, diagnostics, genetics, stem cells, and gene therapy.
Prior to joining the firm, Aaron was an associate at Morrison & Foerster in San Diego. During his doctoral research at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, he focused on generating hematopoietic cells from human embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cells, as well as genetic screens and cancer research.
Before attending graduate school, Aaron worked in the intellectual property department of Diversa Corporation and conducted neuroscience research at a privately held biotechnology company.
