Aaron Knights represents clients before state and federal trial and appellate courts, in regulatory proceedings, and in arbitrations and mediations in a variety of complex commercial disputes and cross-border litigation.
He has advised and represented clients across a range of industries in various general litigation matters, including under the Anti-Terrorism Act and Alien Tort Statute, and in disputes over intellectual property, fraud, real estate transactions and failed business ventures.
Aaron also has represented brokerage firms in customer claims arbitrations, actions on broker promissory notes and employment disputes. Prior to entering private practice, Aaron served as law clerk to the Honorable Rufus G. King, III, Chief Judge of the District of Columbia Superior Court.
As law clerk, he assisted the Chief Judge with civil, criminal and family law matters, as well as with public relations and the development and administration of court policy.
