Adam Burrowbridge is an associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where his practice focuses on intellectual property litigation in district court and at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Adam has represented clients in patent litigations covering a wide range of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, software, medical devices, and consumer products.
Prior to joining the firm, Adam was a clerk for the Honorable Pauline Newman at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Before his clerkship, he worked on international IP issues, including patent harmonization, in the Office of Policy and International Affairs at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
While in law school, Adam was a White House intern in the Office of Science and Technology Policy, where he worked on technology transfer issues in support of the president’s Global Development Policy for Health, Climate Change and Food Security. He also represented the American Intellectual Property Law Association as a delegate at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, COP 16, focused on the technology transfer provision of the Cancun Agreements.
Additionally, as a member of the Glushko-Samuelson IP Law Clinic, he represented clients on patent, copyright, and trademark matters.
Earlier in his career, Adam successfully advocated for a new national center to advance technologies to transform teaching and learning. In this role, he designed educational video games to teach various subjects, including immunology to high school Advanced Placement Biology students.
