Adam A. Fleckenstein focuses his intellectual property practice in the area of patent prosecution and portfolio management on behalf of clients in the electrical, mechanical, and computer science industries.
Adam assists clients on general patent counseling in a variety of technology industries. With a background in computer science in addition to prior experience as an IT professional, Adam has a deep understanding of client businesses and related concerns.
He also has experience in patent portfolio due diligence and analysis relating to mergers and acquisitions, as well as coordinating and directing international patent prosecution. - Prepares and prosecutes domestic patent applications with particular attention to corresponding commercial implementations, performs infringement analysis and due diligence, directs international patent prosecution, and coordinates patent prosecution efforts across multiple jurisdictions for a multi-national corporation operating in the fields of fluid dispensing, circuit substrate coating, and other related technologies.
- Actively assists in an ongoing project to manage and further prosecute a large patent portfolio acquired by a Fortune 500 telecommunications company, as well as contribute to prosecution of the company’s existing patent assets. The company’s patent portfolios cover advanced technologies, including digital content delivery and storage, at-home wireless networks, cable television services, home automation and security systems, and low-power wide area networks (LPWAN).
- Authored invalidity and non-infringement opinion for a large semi-conductor manufacturer.
- Performs patent procurement for a top Fortune 500 company in the technology spaces of video compression and processing, digital content delivery, and mobile device operations.
