Adam earned a Juris Doctor (law degree) from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, graduating with honors. He earned an advanced law degree (LL.M) in tax law from the Georgetown University Law Center, graduating with distinction.
After practicing with large law firms for more than six years, Adam started his own firm in the spring of 2010, to facilitate his growing business enterprises and to focus his practice on representing small businesses. Prior to moving out on his own, he practiced in the Colorado Springs offices of one of Colorado’s most respected and oldest continuing firms. Before that, Adam practiced with Kansas’s largest and oldest continuing firm.
Adam currently represents businesses, business owners, and other individuals in all matters of business and tax law. He actively negotiates and drafts business contracts, documents, and agreements.
He aggressively resolves business disputes, and protects his client’s interests through assertive demand letters. Adam vigorously takes on the I.R.S. to reduce or resolve tax liabilities and audits. He also provides sophisticated tax planning for all business matters.
Adam provides competent real estate advice as his clients expand. He protects their intellectual property rights through non-disclosure agreements, and by preparing and filing applications for trademarks.
He proactively addresses and resolves employee issues, including non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, providing advice on hiring and terminating employees, and preventing or defending unemployment claims.
Adam is a true business lawyer, and loves to play a role in all aspects of a business’s lifespan, from initial organization, securing financing, adding employees, managing growth and expansion, preparing for sale, and, when necessary, winding down and dissolution.
