Adam Hapner is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation Division, where he represents cities and their employees in a variety of complex legal matters in state and federal court. Prior to joining the firm, Adam served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Brian D. Lambert at the Fifth District Court of Appeal and then to the Honorable Patrick M. Hunt at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
While clerking, Adam gained substantial experience at both the trial- and appellate-court level and a unique perspective on how to be an effective advocate. Adam graduated cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2014.
During law school, Adam was a Certified Legal Intern at the Alachua County Public Defender’s Office for one year, where he gained additional litigation experience. Adam also served as an editor of the Florida Law Review and a Teaching Assistant for legal writing classes.
Adam has written three articles published in law review journals and received the Book Award for three classes: Legal Research and Writing; Juvenile Justice; and Criminal Defense Clinic.
