
Adam Masin principally represents leading pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in product liability lawsuits, commercial litigation, and investigations.
He has handled hundreds of product liability lawsuits over many MDLs, consolidated actions, and individual actions relating to medical products, including hip implants, female pelvic mesh, antipsychotics, birth control products, hormone replacement therapy, diet drugs and other products.
He has helped clients achieve numerous pre-trial, trial, and appellate victories in jurisdictions including federal courts in the Second Circuit and Sixth Circuit, as well as state courts in New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. He has also represented a diverse array of corporate clients in business litigations and arbitrations.
Adam has also handled FCPA and internal compliance investigations for non-US entities. Adam regularly counsels Brazilian individuals and businesses on issues involving U.S. law and draws on a wealth of contacts in Brazil to handle cross-border issues in South America.
Adam’s pro bono work includes advising a prominent not-for-profit education advocacy group and a Brazilian not-for-profit environmental foundation.
Adam received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1995 and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2000, where he was awarded the John J. McKay Prize for Excellence in Oral Advocacy and selected to the National Moot Court team.
He was also selected to the Criminal Defense Clinic and was a member of the Fordham International Law Journal. He served as a judicial intern to U.S. Magistrate Arlene R Lindsay of the Eastern District of New York.
