Adam Plant joined the firm Battle & Winn lawyer in 2011 after spending six years at a national litigation firm based in Birmingham. Before entering private practice, Adam served as a Deputy Solicitor General for the State of Alabama.
During his time working at the Office of the Alabama Attorney General, Adam litigated on behalf of the people of Alabama in both state and federal appellate courts, including the Supreme Court of Alabama, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States, including at the cert stage, merits briefing, and briefs amicus curiae.
Adam then served as a law clerk for the Honorable William H. Pryor Jr. on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit Adam has represented clients in antitrust, securities, and shareholder derivative cases; class actions; and complex litigation.
He has represented small businesses, shareholders, members of the United States Armed Forces, doctors and medical associations, cattle ranchers, and row crop farmers in state and federal courts nationwide, including extensive experience in multidistrict litigation.
At Battle & Winn, Adam represents clients in matters including prosecuting and defending personal injury, fraud, financial services, and contract cases.
