Adam S. Dreksler joined Weitz & Luxenberg in 2010 as an associate attorney. He is an active member of our Asbestos Litigation group where he personally helps the victims of mesothelioma, lung cancer and other asbestos-related diseases receive financial compensation to pay their medical expenses and provide financial security for their family members.
Mr. Dreksler also manages the intake process for new asbestos exposure cases reviewed by the law firm. Mr. Dreksler graduated from Syracuse University in 2006 with a bachelor of arts degree. He obtained his juris doctor degree from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2009.
As a political science major (with a minor in religion) at Syracuse University, he placed four times on the Dean’s List of high academic achievers before graduating in 2006. While at Hofstra Law School, Mr. Dreksler earned a dual Concentration in Civil Litigation and Commercial Law, and was also accorded the highest level (Gold Certificate) Pro Bono Program Certificate for completing more than 200 hours of volunteer work at the Kings County and Nassau County District Attorneys Offices.
Mr. Dreksler is an active member of the state bar of New York, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern jurisdictions of New York.
