He has extensive experience representing his clients not only in single and multi-plaintiff cases, but also in class actions and FLSA collective actions with putative class members numbering in the tens of thousands. Adam is a committee chairman for the employment law sub-section of the American Bar Association’s Class Action Committee.

He also serves as the president of the Shelton School Dads’ Group, a member of the legal committee of the Texas Health Care Association, the past president of the University of Arkansas School of Law’s National Alumni Association, and as a pro bono trial attorney for the Advocates for Community Transformation.

  • Represented numerous companies in high-stakes non-compete litigation spanning across numerous states.
  • Provides counseling and training to clients covering all areas of employment law including leave issues, wage-and-hour compliance, reductions-in-force and discipline and termination issues.
  • Represented a Fortune 500 entity in the defense of a racial discrimination claim involving nine named plaintiffs and over 5,000 putative class members. Defeated class certification, obtained summary judgment or dismissal with prejudice of each named plaintiff and successfully pursued claims against the insurance carrier for a return of nearly all attorneys’ fees incurred to defend this matter.
  • Represented two employees of a Fortune 500 company in the US District Court of Northern Alabama, Northwestern Division. Plaintiffs asserted cutting-edge putative class action RICO violation against them for allegedly knowingly hiring illegal aliens. Plaintiffs further asserted such hiring decreased wages of legal workers. Successfully disqualified Plaintiffs’ economics expert and obtained summary judgment on all of Plaintiffs’ claims, which included an award of costs.
