
Adam works on a variety of tax issues at Fabian VanCott. He has experience in planning transactions to maximize tax benefit, and in representing clients before the IRS and state tax agencies.
Before coming to Fabian VanCott, Adam worked at the Office of Chief Counsel (SB/SE) of the IRS in Las Vegas, Nevada. While there, Adam tried six cases before the United States Tax Court, and managed a caseload of over 100 tax court cases.
He was also an intern at the Department of Justice, Tax Division, in Washington, D.C. At the DOJ he worked on several criminal appellate cases in various federal circuits and wrote an opposition to certiorari that was filed with the U.S. Supreme Court.
Adam attended Brigham Young University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, with a minor in Business Management, going on to earn a master’s degree in Physiology and Developmental Biology, and finally earning his law degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School.
