Adrienne May counsels national and local businesses in a wide variety of industries on the extensive and ever-changing rules and regulations governing the workplace. Adrienne regularly represents employers in state and federal court proceedings, before state and federal employment agencies, and through alternative dispute resolution.
She defends clients against employment claims and charges of all types, including discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
She also represents employers in wage and hour disputes and class and collective actions, and advises clients on family medical leave issues and breach of employment contract matters. Additionally, Adrienne has experience handling construction litigation and contract disputes and copyright and trademark prosecution.
Adrienne brings professional writing experience to her legal practice. She is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Federal, Louisiana and New Orleans Bar Associations and serves on the Junior Board for Boys Hope/Girls Hope of Greater New Orleans.
