He managed a DOE-funded incubator chain reaction innovations for early stage hard tech startups, developed strategic initiatives, built research programs, led the efforts to select startups for participating in the incubator, mentored entrepreneurs, and built partnerships with private investors and venture community to support the startups.
In 2012, Dr. Haque co-founded and served as CTO of Site-Diagnostics, a veterinary diagnostics company. This company was a fourth place winner in the New Venture Challenge (NVC) Business Plan competition sponsored by the University of Chicago and was also accepted in the UChicago incubator, Illinois Launch and Chicago Innovation Mentors (CIM).

Dr. Haque earned his doctorate in agricultural and biological bioengineering from Purdue University (Ph.D., 2010), where he also completed his master’s degree in mechanical engineering (M.S., 2006).
During his doctoral pursuit, he received the Purdue Student Engineering Foundation (PSEF) Outstanding Graduate Student Award in the college of engineering. Dr. Haque received his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from NED University (B.S., 2002).
