Ahmad Murrar is a litigation associate with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice.Ahmad gained experience as a summer associate at Foley, where he worked in the Litigation Department drafting briefs, complaints, and memoranda on business, corporate, and tort law.
While in law school, Ahmad worked at the White House under the Obama administration as an intern in the office of Intergovernmental Affairs & Public Engagement where he engaged with state legislators across the nation to implement policy agenda items at a state level including: non-compete agreement reform, criminal justice reform, minimum wage, and immigration reform.
Additionally, Ahmad Worked directly with the White House liaison to the Muslim community to strengthen collaboration between Muslim Civil Rights Organizations and the White House. Ahmad also served as the senior current developments editor for the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal while in law school.
Ahmad’s other work history includes working in the West Bank at the International Legal Foundation, the United States House of Representatives, the Milwaukee Mayor’s Office, the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office, the Office of the Minneapolis City Attorney, Muslim Advocates, the Milwaukee Justice Center, and as a judicial extern at the D.C. Superior Court.
