Overcharges and Overreaches
He did a bait and switch on my friend. She went to the offices for help with a bankruptcy another attorney started but did not finish. She paid the other guy $35,000.00 for the bankruptcy and only needed a discharge. Alan charged her $120,000.00 to obtain a discharge. Did some unnecessary motions to avoid liens and tried to get her to reaffirm the debt with the creditor she discharged. When he could not bilk her further he filed a motion to get off the case and lied to the court saying she would not cooperate with him. All along he was dealing with her husband because she was sick and he knew that from day one.
