Alex Young-Anglim regularly advises domestic and non-U.S. financial institutions, private equity investors and trade groups on a wide range of regulatory, transactional and compliance matters arising under U.S. banking law.
This includes the Bank Holding Company Act and the Dodd-Frank Act, with particular focus on the Volcker Rule, structured products, investments by and in banking organizations, authority and control matters, and corporate governance.
A significant portion of his practice involves advising on U.S. and cross-border financial institution M&A and capital markets transactions.
Alex joined the firm in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, Alex was an associate in the Financial Institutions Group at Davis Polk & Wardwell from 2007 to 2015
