Alexandra Larkin is an integral part of the Haynes and Boone litigation team in New York. Having honed her litigation skills early on at an internationally-recognized firm, Alex has represented some of the world’s largest businesses in a wide range of litigations pending before both the federal and state courts of New York.
Alex’s litigation experience has focused on complex commercial litigation, with particular emphasis in securities-related litigation and general commercial disputes.
Her experience includes defending a large national retailer against class action securities fraud claims; representing premier financial institutions in matters involving derivative financial instruments and claims of benchmark interest rate manipulation; assisting a foreign nation in litigation over its sovereign debt; and defending an international pharmaceutical corporation against claims arising under the False Claims Act.
Alex is prepared to represent clients at all stages of litigation, from pre-litigation counseling through motion practice and trial.
Alex graduated summa cum laude, Order of the Coif, from Rutgers School of Law where she was a member of the Rutgers Law Review, the Rutgers National Mock Trial Team and co-chair of the Moot Court Board.
