Alexandra Rason Coons

With more than fifteen years’ experience in the commercial real estate arena, Alexandra Rason Coons is a seasoned member of the Real Estate and Lending and Corporate Finance practice groups at Taylor English.

Her practice includes the financing, acquisition, disposition and leasing of real estate assets, including retail, multi-family, office, hotels, and mixed-use developments.

Ms. Coons represents lenders and borrowers in connection with acquisition, construction and permanent loan financings and refinancings. She also represents developers of and investors in commercial properties of various sizes and institutional landlords in the negotiation of office leases.

During the economic down-turn, Ms. Coons represented lenders in the workouts and foreclosures of distressed commercial properties.

Prior to joining Taylor English, Ms. Coons gained extensive commercial real estate experience serving in various roles at the law firms of Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP, Hartman Simons & Wood LLP, and Scoggins & Goodman, P.C., as well as the legal departments of Chick-fil-A, Inc. and AFC Enterprises, Inc.

Ms. Coons also served as a Research Assistant to Emory Law Professor Frank Alexander during law school conducting research and drafting and updating material for the fourth edition of Georgia Real Estate Finance and Foreclosure Law (2004).
