Alice is a litigator who concentrates her practice on shipping, transportation and energy, as well as submarine cables and pipelines related areas. She advises vessel, cargo and submarine cables owners on various contractual, contentious and regulatory matters.
Alice also draws on her international background to help corporate and governmental clients solve their cross-border disputes. In addition, Alice serves the International Cable Protection Committee (ICPC) as its United Nations Observer Representative.
In that position, she participates in United Nations (UN) law of the sea meetings on behalf of the ICPC, an organization that counts more than 170 members from over 60 countries, including cable owners, operators, manufacturers, industry service providers, as well as governments. Alice carries out all responsibilities associated with the ICPC’s consultative status at the UN.
Before joining the firm, Alice worked for maritime law firms in Hamburg, Paris and New York. In addition, she worked for the United Nations, in the Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea. She is a graduate of the Rhodes Academy on Oceans Law and Policy.
