Alicia L. Wright is a registered patent attorney who focuses her practice on patent drafting, prosecution, and counseling, primarily in the areas of electronics and software. She has experience preparing patentability, freedom-to-operate, and validity opinions in various technical fields.
Prior to joining the firm, Alicia was an associate patent attorney in the Atlanta, Georgia, office of a national intellectual property law firm where she focused her practice on patent application drafting and prosecution. She also prepared international patent applications and coordinated with foreign counsel to prosecute foreign patent applications. Previously, Alicia was an intellectual property associate in the Atlanta, Georgia, headquarters of a national law firm where she managed patent work and developed and implemented patent strategies for clients. Additionally, Alicia was intellectual property counsel, editor, and co-owner of Dragonfairy Press LLC, a small publishing company in Atlanta, Georgia, where she developed and implemented legal strategies to protect its intellectual property interests.
While attending law school, Alicia was Staff Editor of the Duke Law and Technology Review and Article Editor of the Duke Journal of Gender Law and Policy.
