Alif R. Mia represents and counsels employers in all matters of labor and employment law, including employment discrimination litigation, wage and hour compliance, employment agreements, breach of contract disputes, reductions in force, trade secrets and enforcement of non-competes.
Alif also helps employers mitigate risk and comply with federal, state and local employment laws by advising on workplace policies and procedures. Alif has represented employers in a broad range of industries including transportation, food processing, finance, telecommunications, logistics, banking, hospitality, food service, oil and gas, healthcare, and technology.
Prior to joining Littler, Alif gained experience working at the Dallas District Office of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New York City Office of Labor Relations, and now regularly advises employers on complex agency investigations and collective bargaining.
