
Alison H. Sausaman is an associate in Carr Allison’s Jacksonville, Florida office where she practices in the areas of premises liability, retail and hospitality, transportation, government torts and public liability and labor and employment. Alison is admitted to practice in the state of Florida and before the United States District Court for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida.
Alison received her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University, graduating with honors and earned her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law. While in law school she served as General Counsel of the Florida State University Supreme Court, the Business Relations Editor of the Florida State University Business Review, a student member of the Chester Bedell Inn of Court and a Senior Member of the Florida State University Law Review.
Alison is a member of the Florida Bar, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and the Jacksonville Bar Association. In 2016, Alison received the Florida Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Michael K. Reese Quality of Life Award.
The Award is bestowed upon the person and/or entity that, through humanitarian respect, advances balance and fulfillment in lawyers’ lives by redefining current work habits and schedules to provide more flexibility and a more meaningful existence, which Alison accomplished by founding the Health and Wellness Committee, which began a “yoga on the courthouse lawn” and “walk and talk” series.
