Allen V. Farber has developed a litigation practice that encompasses a broad range of litigation matters, including sophisticated commercial disputes, partnership disputes, health care issues, employment discrimination, restrictive covenants, trade secret violations, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, intentional interference with contract, negligent supervision, privacy issues, intentional infliction of emotional distress, commercial real estate litigation and other business, commercial and employment-related claims.
Allen has extensive experience in a wide range of First Amendment issues including libel, slander and subpoenas directed to the media. Allen has extensive experience before numerous state and federal trial and appellate courts and arbitration panels.
Allen began his career as a trial attorney with the District of Columbia Public Defender Service in its Mental Health Division at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital in Washington, D.C., and has litigated for over forty years.
Allen also has extensive experience in handling matters affecting real estate agents and brokers including negotiating agent’s agreements with commercial brokerage firms and agent’s transition from one firm to another.
