Allison S. Thornton is an associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. She focuses her practice on litigation. Ms. Thornton represents both domestic and international clients in a variety of complex litigation matters. Her practice focuses on civil litigation and internal corporate investigations. Ms. Thornton also advises clients on compliance matters.She maintains an active pro bono practice with an emphasis on assisting tenants in landlord-tenant disputes.
Prior to joining Akin Gump, Ms. Thornton clerked for the Honorable Robert A. Salerno. She received her J.D. in 2017 from the University of Virginia Law School where she served as the editor in chief for the Virginia Journal of Criminal Law. She graduated from Tulane University in 2014 with a B.A. in liberal arts & sciences.
