
Allyson Johnson is Counsel in the Labor & Employment department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Ms. Johnson exclusively represents and advises public and private employers in labor and employment matters.
She focuses her practice in the area of employment litigation, including actions involving discrimination on the basis of sex, age, race, religion and disability, as well as sexual harassment and retaliation. She also has experience defending clients in cases involving workers’ compensation retaliation, wage and hour violations, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, and employment-related torts.
Furthermore, she provides advice and counsel to various employers on a variety of employment law related issues and creates policies that comply with federal and state labor and employment laws.
Ms. Johnson has represented clients before various state and federal courts and administrative agencies, including the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Texas Workforce Commission, the U.S. Department of Labor and the Division of Labor Standards and Enforcement.
She has represented companies both large and small across numerous industries, including retail, financial services, hospitality, foodservice management, health care, packaging, and government defense contractors.
