
Alyse Fiori Stach is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Commercial Litigation and International Arbitration Practice Groups. She focuses on complex commercial disputes, cross-border litigation, business torts and insurance coverage matters.
Alyse has significant media, sports, bankruptcy, lodging and financial services industry experience. Alyse has substantial experience handling matters before alternative dispute resolution tribunals and regularly represents clients through the arbitral hearing or mediation stage.
She also maintains an active pro bono practice. Alyse is part of a team representing a death row inmate through various state and federal appeals including a habeas petition in the 11th Circuit and recently obtained on order granting a resentencing hearing.
In addition, she represented a small business affected by Hurricane Sandy, is a supervising attorney in the Iraqi Refugee Assistance Project and has represented the City of New York on a wide variety of matters.
Prior to joining Proskauer, Alyse concluded a year of firm-sponsored service as Special Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Appeals Division for the City of New York.
While practicing in the Appeals Division, Alyse appeared on behalf of the City in more than 20 appellate matters and successfully briefed and argued cases for municipal clients in the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division as well as in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
She is a member of the Young Lawyers Committee in Women In Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF).
