Amanda E. Inskeep advises and represents employers, from local sole proprietorships to large multinational corporations, in a variety of industries to ensure a compliant and functional workplace and successful navigation of litigation.
She works collaboratively with clients to conduct comprehensive internal audits of employee classifications and pay practices, and guides employers through government audits and investigations. Amanda also counsels her clients on compliance with complex employee leave entitlements.
Amanda provides strategic advice and defense for employers in litigation in both state and federal court, with considerable experience handling both large scale wage and hour class actions and complex single plaintiff litigation. She also represents clients on a wide variety of employment claims before administrative agencies and has worked on multiple cases before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
While in law school, Amanda served as a judicial extern to the Hon. Magistrate Judge Morton Denlow of the Northern District of Illinois and was senior articles editor of the Journal of Law and Social Policy.
