Amanda Brezina Lowe is an associate in the firm’s litigation practice. Ms. Lowe advises clients on government contracts matters, including compliance counseling and representation in investigations and disputes. She also represents clients in anticorruption investigations arising from the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and provides guidance on various regulatory matters involving cybersecurity, transportation and international trade.
Ms. Lowe was an Akin Gump Pro Bono Scholar in 2015 and a member of Akin Gump’s 2016 Summer Associate class. Before attending law school, Ms. Lowe was an intelligence analyst at an industry-leading provider of human geography data and socio-cultural analysis services, where she produced detailed analytical products and liaised with the intelligence community and senior government staff.
Ms. Lowe received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University School of Law in 2017, and her B.A., magna cum laude, in Political Science with a minor in Arabic Language from Middlebury College in 2011. While in law school, Ms. Lowe was a student practitioner in the Center for Applied Legal Studies Clinic and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of National Security Law & Policy.
