Amanda E. Stephenson focuses on patent litigation in district and appellate courts, post-grant proceedings at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and investigations before the International Trade Commission (ITC).
She also handles patent prosecution, primarily in the electrical, artificial intelligence, business methods, financial services, and e-commerce fields. Prior to joining Finnegan, Amanda was a senior consultant in the Advanced Analytics and Optimization group at IBM in Washington, DC.
She analyzed and enhanced processes for multiple clients. During law school, she interned at the William B. Puller Veteran’s Benefits Clinic, where she assisted veterans seeking disability benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Amanda maintains a pro bono docket, continuing her work assisting veterans with obtaining disability benefits.
