Amy de La Lama has assisted a wide array of companies (financial institutions, retail companies, sourcing providers, online businesses) in addressing legal issues related to global privacy and data collection, data security, information technology and related restrictions on data collection and movement.
Ms. de La Lama has drafted comprehensive compliance programs and worked closely with US government agencies to assist her clients resolve related regulatory issues. She also has assisted both customers and vendors with outsourcing transactions and has assisted clients with information technology issues.
Such experience includes assisting information technology companies in negotiating and drafting software license, service, support and maintenance and marketing agreements.
Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, Ms. de La Lama spent three years as an associate at Holland & Hart, LLP in Denver, Colorado. During that time, Ms. de La Lama gained significant regulatory experience in areas including privacy, foreign corrupt practices act, export control and sanctioned country regulations.
