For almost 20 years, Amy Weber has focused her practice on helping individuals and entities achieve results in business matters. Her range of competency in subject areas and type of client are broad but her goals for her clients are narrow: to efficiently and successfully get the matter resolved.
Ms. Weber has extensive experience litigating in the state and federal courts in Georgia, including the appellate courts. Her ability to understand the life of a litigation file affords her the opportunity to counsel and manage the expectations of her clients. Ms. Weber maintains the highest standards of attentiveness, communication and customer service.
Ms. Weber has worked closely with small to mid-size businesses handling a number of issues related to contract breach or enforcement, enforcement of promissory notes and guarantees, shareholder disputes, property disputes and restrictive covenants. Additionally, Ms. Weber drafts service agreements, contracts, simple corporate documents and offers guidance on corporation set-up and steps to mitigate litigation risk.
Ms. Weber’s Higher Education practice encompasses representing colleges and universities on Title IX issues surrounding policy creation, implementation, interpretation, investigations and training. She has defended higher education institutions who are sued for violations of Title IX. Moreover, Ms. Weber consults with her higher education clients on risk and compliance programs.
Ms. Weber believes in servant leadership and the importance of giving back to the community which has afforded her many opportunities. She is active with the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce, is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Cobb, and currently serves as the Finance Chair for the Military Family Support Center. Ms. Weber is also actively involved with her church and her children’s school.
