As a real estate attorney at Olshan, Amy W. Lu represents owners, developers and tenants on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions. Amy’s practice includes all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. Her experience includes office, retail, warehouse, telecommunications, ground and data center leasing, from both landlord and tenant positions.
Amy also handles acquisitions, dispositions and development of office, retail and mixed-used properties and joint ventures. Prior to joining Olshan, Amy was special counsel in the real estate section at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo PC.
Prior to that she served as an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, Legal and Compliance Division, where she handled transactions relating to the development, design and construction and leasing of the institution’s real estate portfolio in the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and earlier in her career as an associate in the real estate group of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP.
Amy is committed to providing pro bono services and has represented numerous non-for-profit and charitable organizations and has been honored by the Legal Aid Society. Amy earned her J.D., cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School and received her B.A. from State University of New York – Binghamton. Amy is proficient in Mandarin and conversant in Cantonese.
