Amy Hsiao is an experienced estate planning and business attorney licensed to practice law in California. She recently received the “Family Business Lawyer” designation awarded by the national Family Wealth Planning Institute.

Amy is a member of Wealth Counsel, a national organization for estate planning professionals in pursuit of practice excellence; Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), an organization focused on international estate planning and global wealth management; and the Trusts & Estates section and Tax section of the Sate Bar of California.
Prior to starting her own law firm, Amy’s experiences include business litigation at Foley & Lardner; Higgs, Fletcher & Mack; Klinedinst and the Legal Aid Society of San Diego. She was a Judicial Extern with the Honorable Irma Gonzalez (Retired), the former Chief Justice of the Federal District of Southern California.
Amy is a leader in the legal profession. She is the President of the San Diego Chinese Attorneys Association; board member of Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego; co-chair of Lawyers Club committee. She is also an active participant of the Access to Law Initiative, which provides pro-bono and low-bono legal services to the local community to achieve “justice for all.”
Before moving to the U.S., Amy worked as an international affairs manager at Farmar International Law Firm, with branches in Taipei, Taichung, Beijing and Xiamen.
Prior to that, Amy worked as a conference interpreter in the United Nations office in Vienna and hosted a popular television show in Taiwan.
Amy is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese (Fukienese), and Spanish.
