Ana C. Montalbán counsels clients on various public finance matters, including traditional municipal finance, multifamily housing and other private activity bond financings. She serves as counsel to investment banking firms, private investors, municipalities, issuers, credit enhancers and trustees in relation to public finance projects throughout the country.
She also represents nonprofit organizations, including hospitals and other health care organizations and schools, colleges and universities. Ana advises on transactions involving the structuring and restructuring, issuance, offering, placement and remarketing of tax-exempt and taxable securities and other debt instruments.
She maintains a focus on disclosure matters and securities regulatory compliance. Over the past few years, Ana has seen a growth in her local practice and as well as other experiences with public finance issues specific to Pennsylvania.
Ana also is experienced in transportation and infrastructure financings, including green financing initiatives, real estate based lending, asset securitizations and other derivative transactions, including interest rate swaps.
