Anastasios Savvaides

Mr. Savvaides focus his legal practice on devastating personal injury such as car and motorcycle accidents, truck and trailer accidents, product and premises liability and medical malpractice.

He obtained a degree from Hartwick College as an Oyaron scholar in 1989 and later obtained a law degree in 1992 from Suffolk School of Law, Boston. At Suffolk, he worked at the legal department of an insurance company and was also on the dean’s merit list.

Upon his graduation, he worked for the Connecticut Judicial Department in 1993 as an assistant clerk. He later entered into general practice with Reid, Cafero & Corsello before accepting the position of a trial attorney, defending personal injury claims at Allstate Insurance Company in 1995.

He completed an advocacy program while work at the firm and was promoted to the office of Senior Trial Lawyer. He started working for Casper & deToledo LLC in 1995 as an associate.

Anastasios left Casper & deToledo to join Wocl Leydon, LLC in 2008 as a partner and member representing injury clients in cases of negligence and reckless misconduct. In 2209, he was recertified as the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a civil trial advocate.

He has been continually nominated and recognized as a super lawyer in personal injury since 2007- 2015 by both Connecticut Magazine and Law & Politics Magazine.

The National Trial Lawyer Association selected him in 2007 as one of the top 100 trial lawyers in the state of Connecticut. He is an experienced lecturer at various trial practice seminars.

He has a membership on the Board of Governors of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers’ Association (CTLA), CTLA’s Continuing Legal Education Committee, Membership Committee and Public Relations Task Force, the American Association for Justice (AAJ), the National Advisory Board of the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Fairfield County Bar Association (FCBA). He is a member of the FCBA’s board of director and co-chairs its civil litigation arm.

Mr. Savvaides is admitted to practice in the Connecticut and New York bar and in all Federal District Courts for the district of Connecticut.
