Andrea Nixon represents financial institutions and other capital market participants in repurchase, warehousing, financing, and other secured lending facilities backed by residential, commercial, and multifamily mortgage loans, single-family rental properties, servicing rights, student loans, and other financial asset classes.
Andrea works with Delaware statutory trusts, New York common law trusts, REMIC trusts, and mezzanine loans. Before joining the firm, Andrea served as lender’s counsel in financing transactions for the origination of commercial mortgage loans.
Andrea received her J.D. from William & Mary Law School, where she was a member of the National Moot Court Team, National Trial Team, and founding editor of the William & Mary Business Law Review. She received her B.S. in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University.
