
Andrew W. Houlin is an associate in Mayer Brown’s Houston office and a member of the Banking & Finance practice and the Latin America & the Caribbean team. He has represented lenders and sponsors in connection with the construction and financing of capital-intensive infrastructure projects.
Andrew also has experience representing commercial banks and multilateral organizations in connection with international project finance. His Latin American experience includes transactions in Chile, Mexico and Colombia.
An Argentine native, Andrew is fluent in Spanish. While in law school, he furthered his legal education by taking courses at the University of Buenos Aires and writing articles about legal issues in Argentina ranging from the Argentine debt crisis, developments in infrastructure plans and legislation governing the prevention of violence in football.
