
Andrew J. Masak is an attorney in the Atlanta office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP and is a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment department. Mr. Masak represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment issues, including the National Labor Relations Act, arbitration, collective bargaining, discrimination, workplace harassment and retaliation claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other state and local statutes, as well as various other common law torts and employment contractual disputes.
Mr. Masak is a contributing editor of the semi-annual update to the treatise Wage & Hour Collective and Class Litigation, a 912-page book devoted to the litigation of wage & hour matters. The treatise literally is “the book” on wage & hour litigation.
Prior to joining Seyfarth, Mr. Masak worked in international development in rural Peru for La Junta de Desarrollo Distrital de Pamparomas. During law school, he also worked with the Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance and the DeKalb County Public Defender. Andrew is proficient in Spanish and trained in Peacekeeping and International Conflict Resolution by the UN Peacekeeping Operations.
