
Andrew O. Mathews focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation matters, with an emphasis in construction and commercial real estate disputes. He has also represented businesses and individuals in government and corporate investigations in matters involving securities and banking regulation, the Lacey Act and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Prior to joining the firm, Andy was a financial consultant at Smith Barney and sold insurance and annuities with Genworth Financial. He is a member of the Virginia Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division and the Richmond Bar Association.
Andy is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Andy received his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law. While in law school, he was a member of the University of Richmond Law Review. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest University.
