Andrew J. Oppenheim practices in the areas of commercial and business litigation. Driven and practical, he counsels his clients through numerous phases of litigation, as well as interviews key witnesses during depositions, prepares discovery, motions, and other court-required documentation, and pre-trial preparation. He also has experience in the areas of insurance defense and construction litigation.
Having an undergraduate education in economics and business has allowed Andrew an opportunity to approach problems with an eye towards real-world, economical solutions. While in law school, he was on the Dean’s List each semester and received the Book Award in Trial Practice. He was also the Education Chair and a member of the Executive Board of The Florida Moot Court Team.
Prior to his last year of law school, Andrew served as an intern for the Honorable Edwin A. Scales, III in the Third District Court of Appeal in Miami, Florida, where he drafted appellate opinions, provided civil, criminal, and administrative case recommendations, prepared case summaries for three-judge panels, and reviewed extraordinary writs and post-conviction motions.
