Ventura County Bankruptcy Attorney Andrew S. Mansfield is is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization in bankruptcy law. He has been practicing law since December of 1994, when he was admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California, including the Central and Northern District of the United States District Courts in California.
He completed his B.A. at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas in 1991, and he received his law degree fromU.C Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) in 1994. In 2007, he graduated from Harvard Divinity School after conducting his Master’s research on the role of religion in major United States Supreme Court decisions since 1950 and the religious bases of United States bankruptcy law.
Andrew practiced with the litigation and corporate departments of O’Melveny & Myers LLP from 1994 to 2001. He operated his own practice, Mansfield Law Office, since 2001 before joining Higson Cheney Mansfield, PC in 2013.
Higson Cheney Mansfield, PC transformed itself into Mansfield Cheney, PC in June of 2015 when Andrew S. Mansfield and Ellen M. Cheney purchased the remaining shares in the firm from Daniel A. Higson.
