Andrew Thurmond represents financial institutions and project developers on major infrastructure projects with a focus on the development, construction, financing, operations and management of energy projects, primarily in the renewable energy field.
Andrew is an associate in the Capital Projects and Infrastructure practice. Andrew’s industry focus includes renewable energy, energy, power, natural resources and other infrastructure, and other commodities, financial and corporate transactions.
Andrew is also involved in the firm’s pro bono practice, where he assists parents of children with disabilities in the D.C. public school system in obtaining special education services.
Prior to joining the firm, Andrew was an associate at a national law firm and before that an associate at a public finance and infrastructure boutique law firm, where he focused on the procurement and implementation of public infrastructure on an alternative project delivery basis in the water treatment, wastewater treatment, renewable energy, recycling and solid waste sectors.
