Angela V. Langlotz is Of Counsel to the firm. Angela’s practice focuses on trademark, copyright, and licensing law. She counsels clients on all aspects of protecting their valuable trademarks and copyrights, and helps clients monetize their intellectual property via licensing agreements.
She represents clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She is admitted to active practice in Nevada, and maintains inactive licenses in California and Wyoming. Angela represents clients throughout the United States and internationally.
In addition to her work with Tully Rinckey PLLC, Angela maintains her own intellectual property practice in Dallas, Texas. Previous to that, she practiced in Nevada, where she focused on estate planning, elder law, business planning and Medicaid planning for ten years before turning to intellectual property law in 2009.
Angela earned her juris doctorate from the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College in 1999. During that time, she served on the editorial board of her school’s Journal of Small and Emerging Business Law. She received bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and microbiology with a minor in Latin American studies from The Evergreen State College in Washington in 1996.
Angela’s other accomplishments include publication of “Tying the Knot: The Tax Consequences of Marriage” in The Tax Lawyer (2001), as well as working with Rotary Club and other arts and charitable causes. She is fluent in Spanish, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese.
