Anita J. Pancholi is an attorney in the Labor and Employment department, working out of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Chicago office. Ms. Pancholi represents employers in a broad range of employment law matters arising under state and federal laws, including claims brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and related state and local statutes.
Ms. Pancholi has experience representing clients against claims of discrimination, harassment and retaliation before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, state and federal court. She also advises clients on Equal Employment Opportunity compliance, wage and hour compliance, and personnel policies.
Prior to joining Seyfarth Shaw LLP, Ms. Pancholi practiced general commercial, securities and employment litigation for several years. She also has considerable pro bono experience, and has successfully represented individuals petitioning for asylum in the United States before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Immigration Court.
Ms. Pancholi has clerked for the Honorable Vanessa D. Gilmore of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas in Houston.
