Mr. Anthony Gonzalez has legal experience representing clients with their consumer financial services and other civil litigation issues. As a Plantation Florida Lawyer some of Mr. Gonzalez’s areas of practice involve: defense against Home Owner Association’s (HOA’s), Foreclosure Defense, Credit Card Debt Defense, defending individuals who were being sued for Deficiency Judgments, Contract Disputes, representing clients in Federal Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of Florida.

Mr. Gonzalez is a proven leader with a passion for providing service to his community. While enrolled at TAMIU, Mr. Gonzalez served as a member of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity and served as their President in 2007-08.
During Mr. Gonzalez’s undergraduate studies, he became familiar with all different aspects of the criminal justice system; specifically, by partaking in unpaid internships at both the Laredo Police Department and at the Federal Public Defenders Office.
Mr. Gonzalez’s observed the criminal justice system first hand at the Laredo Police Department where he participated in ride alongs with police officers and observed the police departments normal interactions with citizens. On occasion he even viewed arrests and bookings for criminal violations.
Mr. Gonzalez’s experience interning at the Federal Public Defenders Office allowed him to see what it was like for individuals who had already been incarcerated and were awaiting to speak with their attorney and/or were awaiting trial.
After moving to South Florida to begin his career as a lawyer, Mr. Gonzalez always remembered the importance of assisting those in his community. Mr. Gonzalez has regularly volunteered at Feeding South Florida and at Jubilee Center of South Broward.
Mr. Gonzalez’s care for his South Florida community has resulted in over 195 hours of combined community service rendered at Feeding South Florida and the Jubilee Center of South Broward. As a Manager-Member of Light & Gonzalez, PLLC, Mr. Gonzalez continues to serve and give back to the South Florida community.
