Anthony Q. Le is an associate in the Financial Services Litigation Department and member of the firm’s Fintech industry team. Anthony has a diverse practice focused on representing financial institutions, Fintech companies, and auto finance companies with regulatory and compliance, government investigations and enforcement actions, and individual and class action litigation.

He has represented clients dealing with claims related to fair lending, credit reporting, debt collection, telecommunications, unfair business practices, privacy, foreclosure, automobile finance, repossession, and contract disputes.

In his regulatory and compliance practice, Anthony advises on regulation and compliance issues, such as ECOA, FCRA, TCPA, E-Sign, Dodd-Frank, and state licensing, affecting financial institutions and Fintech companies in the lending, payment processing, alternative data, and artificial intelligence sectors. He also has experience representing clients in investigations and enforcement actions against state AGs and CFPB.

In his litigation practice, Anthony has experience in state and federal court involving individual and class actions throughout various stages of litigation with claims related to consumer financial protection laws, credit reporting, debt collection, telecommunications, warranty, product liability, and common law claims. He is involved in all aspects of litigation, including settlement, pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, and trial.

Anthony graduated magna cum laude with a business concentration from the University of Minnesota School of Law. During law school, Anthony was a research assistant to a bankruptcy professor and externed with Judge Jeffrey S. White in the U.S. District Court for the District of Northern California.

He was part of the Maynard Pirsig Moot Court and represented his law school in the ABA National Moot Court competition. After law school, Anthony served as law clerk to Chief Judge Kathleen H. Sanberg of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota where he gained a broad range of consumer bankruptcy and business restructuring experience.


  • Advised various Fintech, national bank, and auto finance clients with policies and procedures related to, among others, ECOA, FCRA, TCPA, E-Sign, and issues related to alternative credit data.
  • Represented financial services client in connection with CFPB examination and investigation for alleged UDAAP violations.
  • Prevailed on summary judgment in an individual action under breach of contract and conversion claims on behalf of an automobile finance company.
  • Prevailed on motion to dismiss in numerous individual actions related to wrongful foreclosure and deceptive business practice claims on behalf of a national bank client.
  • Negotiated hundreds of settlements in individual actions on behalf of financial institutions and Fintech companies related to, among others, consumer financial protection laws, credit reporting, debt collection, telecommunications, lemon law, and state law claims.
