
Anthony W. Morris is a Partner in the Commercial Litigation Section of Dentons, the largest law firm in the world. Anthony has a practice that spans business litigation, professional ethics and entertainment.
Anthony represents some of the world’s largest companies, with a focus on multi-national insurance companies, in complex litigation matters including class actions. One area of Anthony’s practice is defending corporate directors and officers and licensed professionals in negligence, malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty, and/or securities fraud claims. Anthony also litigates large dollar coverage disputes with insureds and handles all types of coverage disputes, with a particular emphasis on those alleging bad faith.
He has a particular wealth of experience in the substantive law regarding first-party property loss. He also has significant experience rendering coverage opinions, representing clients in alternative dispute resolution and monitoring and evaluating complex claims.
Anthony provides advice to insurance companies regarding product development and has drafted numerous policy forms for various lines of coverage. Anthony has had extensive experience before state and federal courts throughout the country in a wide-range of civil litigation matters.
Anthony has also authored numerous articles and publications and has lectured at many seminars around the country on director and officer liability, professional negligence and insurance.
Anthony served as outside counsel to the Speakers of the 104th-109th Congresses of the United States. He has also represented many Members of Congress, as well as certain Georgia elected officials. Anthony represents attorneys in disciplinary proceedings before the Georgia Bar.
